A Marion County man will go to trial in April in connection with the sexual abuse of children. 47 year old Scotty Scaggs of Summit faces charges of Class D Felony sexual indecency with a minor, Class A first degree sexual assault and Class B second degree sexual assault. If convicted on all three charges he could face up to 58 years in prison. Scaggs’ trial is set to begin the week of April first.
