Ripley Entertainment has announced Ride the Ducks Branson will not operate during the 2019 season. Instead, a new attraction, Branson Top Ops, will be opening in the same location as the former business. Branson Top Ops will be a patriotic-themed experience; offering an interactive outdoor maze, indoor laser tag, and other adventures. Ripley Entertainment spokeswoman Suzanne Smagala-Potts says the idea behind the new attraction was inspired by the first responders of the duck boat tragedy. Ride the Ducks Branson was closed after one of their boats capsized on Table Rock Lake on July 19, killing 17 people.
