A Mountain Home man faces 9 drug and weapon related charges in Izard County. 24 year old Aaron Bates was arrested after a traffic stop. He is charged with felony offenses of possession with the purpose to deliver meth, possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to analyze meth, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest meth, possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to analyze marijuana, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence. He also faces misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $100,000
