A man from Squires drowned in flooding Tuesday night in Douglas County. Authorities say that 59 year old Robbie Turner was camping near Hunter Creek and was swept downstream due to the flash flooding. Turner was found pinned against a tree and debris pile. The drowning happened on Hunter Creek about 7 and a half miles southeast of Ava. Authorities say that nearly 7 inches of rain fell in the area Tuesday night.
