The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the arrest of a sex offender. 39 year old Phillip Edward Idle was arrested for failure to comply with sex offender registration laws. The Baxter County Sheriff’s office was notified by authorities in Indiana that Idle had left Indiana and was believed to be in Baxter County, in the Midway area. Idle has allegedly been in the area since early April without registering. Idle is Charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender. His bond was set at $15,000. He will be in court May 30th
