Lady Bears fall to the Kirby Lady Trojans 61 to 55 in the quarterfinals of the 1A state tournament at Morrilton. Whitney Lane scored 22 and Lauren Mitchell had 10 in the loss. Lady Bears end their season with a record of 30 wins and 11 losses.
The Izard County Consolidated Cougars senior boys defeated Kirby by 2 points Friday afternoon and will now play this afternoon in the Final Four in 1A State tournament at Morrilton.
