The St. Louis Cardinals blew a 3-0 lead early, and lost to the Philadelphia Phillies last night. Paul Goldschmidt and Marcel Ozuna both homered to stake Adam Wainwright to the 3-0 lead in the 1st, but the Redbirds couldn’t hold it, and didn’t score any additional runs. Bryce Harper and Cesar Hernandez both homered for the Phillies for the 4-3win.
The Cards and Phillies play again tonight.
