The Thayer police department says they have found a special needs woman who went missing early this (Wednesday) morning, and she is safe and sound. The 18 year old went missing, on foot, about 8:30 Wednesday morning around the 200 block of north 6th street in Thayer. She was located about 2:00 this afternoon. The police department thanks the public for their help in locating her.
