For the 1st time this season, the St. Louis Cardinals with a walk-off win last night. Matt Carpenter singled home Colton Wong with the game winner in the bottom of the 10th inning, as the Cards opened a 3 game series at Busch with the 1st place Cubs with a 2-1 win..
Jordan Hicks threw 2 scoreless innings for the win, following a great start by Miles Mikolas.
The Cards and Cubbies play again this evening at Busch.
Before yesterdays game, the Cardinals announced that catcher Yadier Molina had been placed on the 10 day Injured list.
