A Batesville woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop. 40 year old Cordella Nugent was arrested over the weekend. When stopped authorities discovered that she had an active warrant and search waiver of file. Two glass smoking devices and a set of scales were found along with a baggie containing meth and four white pills in a plastic wrapper. Nugent was placed on a hold and is being held in Independence county.
