A West Plains man suffered serious injuries in a one vehicle accident Saturday afternoon south of West Plains. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 24 year old Lincoln Scott was injured when he drove off the road, struck an embankment and overturned te SUV he was driving. Scott was flown by Air-Evac to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on highway 17 about 4 miles south of West Plains.
