A man was arrested in Independence County after he allegedly pulled a gun on his ex girlfriend. 36 year old Dalton Steven Coplin allegedly followed his ex then sideswiped her vehicle and blocked her way. Coplin then got out of the vehicle with a handgun and starting yelling at her telling her to leave. The woman then went to a friend’s house and called police. Coplin faces charges of felony aggravated assault on a family or household member. He is also charged as an habitual offender.
