
Wednesday morning a trial date was set for former Cherokee Village Police officer Josh Trivitt. Trivitt is on unpaid administrative leave. He was arrested last August with a class D felony second degree battery. The Charges stem from an incident in November of 2016 in which Randall Veazle of Ash Flat suffered injuries and was hospitalized. Trivitt’s trial date was set for Monday, July 1st at 8:30 am. Special prosecutor John Jack McQuary also announced that he would be perusing a more severe level of charges changing the charge from class D to class B.
