A woman from Thayer who was injured when her car was hit by a train Monday afternoon in Koshkonong has passed away. The Highway Patrol reports that 25 year old Juliann Whitaker pulled the car she was driving into the path of a Burlington Northern Train at County road 366 in Koshkonong. Whitaker was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield on Monday, she passed away around 8:30 this morning.
