Two Willow Springs residents were injured in an accident Sunday morning west of Willow Springs. 35 year old Jacklyn Wake suffered moderate injuries and 28 year old Ethan Smith suffered minor injuries when Smith drove off the road and hit a tree.
Smith was charged with felony DWI, felony possession of controlled substance, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Both the injured were taken to OMC. The accident happened on Mo Rt 181 about 8 miles west of Willow Springs.
