On Monday, at approximately 11:10 PM, the West Plains Police Department responded to Muggs Bar located at 1101 East Main Street regarding an individual firing a weapon at individuals in the area. Upon arrival, Officers observed a disturbance among several individuals in the area. Officers advised that an individual had fired a weapon in the air twice and then fired a third shot at an individual’s vehicle as they were fleeing the area. Denny Earl Trolinger, a residence of Brandsville, Missouri, was taken into custody at the location after the firearm involved in the altercation was located by officers. Trolinger is currently being held pending official charges of “Unlawful Use of Weapon.” There were no injuries reported in the incident.
