A woman from Alton was injured in an accident north of Thayer Thursday morning. The highway patrol reports that 47 year old Gwen Hoopes suffered minor injuries when she attempted to make a left turn as a vehicle driven by 58 year old Diana Spracken of Thayer attempted to pass her. Hoopes was taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on Missouri 19 about three miles north of Thayer.
