It’s that time of year again as schools start to gear up for another school year. Over the next few days we are going to check in with some of our area Superintendants as they get ready for the start of school. Today we catch up with Alton Superintendant Dr Eric Allen
Alton School begins next Thursday August 15th but before school starts they will be busy with several events including a 9th grade Orientation Thursday at 5:15 pm in the High School Library, a 12th grade Orientation Thursday at 5:45 pm in the High School Library, a Kindergarten Meet and Greet August 12th at 5:30 pm, a 7th grade Orientation August 13th at 5:45 pm in the High School Library, an Open House for grades PK-12 grade August 13th from 6:00-7:30 pm. The Alton Public School Foundation will host a hotdog supper which includes a hotdog, chips, and drink for $2.00 in the Alton Elementary Multi-Purpose Building August 13th beginning at 5:30 pm. Spring Dipper Ice Cream will also be available for purchase as well.
