A Former School Resource officer at Cotter accused of sexual assault of a 16 year old student was in court Thursday in Baxter County. 33 year old Matthew Guthrie of Mountain Home entered a not guilty plea to 7 counts of sexual assault involving a 16 year old student. Guthrie was also a former Baxter County Deputy. Guthrie is free on $100,000 bond.
