A Gainesville woman was injured in an accident east of Gainesville late last night. 25 year old Makayla Hilderbrand suffered serious injuries when a vehicle driven by 42 year old Jason Laird swerved to avoid an animal and hit an embankment. Hildrebrand was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on county road 517 about 2 miles east of Gainesville.
