The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the arrest of a woman from Ava. 61 year old Terrie Deering was arrested after the sheriff’s office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Goodhope Area. After speaking with the individual and a search of the vehicle, illegal narcotics were found and the Deering was placed under arrest on charges of 2 counts of felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Deering has a no bond warrant.
