September 23, 2019 (Brockwell, AR) – The Izard County High School Bass Fishing Team attended their first competition of the season on September 21, 2019. The team traveled to Panther Bay Marina on Norfork Lake for the tournament being hosted by the Twin Lakes Bass Club of Mountain Home.
There were 15 teams participating in this tournament and ICC brought home 3rd, 4th, and 7th place. Justus Cooper and Hayden Lewis finished in 3rd place and also won the Big Bass award with a weight of 3.64 pounds. Gavin Roberts and Lane Mohlke won 4th place, and Ethan Hardin and Cody Smith won 7th place. The kids had a great time and are looking forward to the rest of the season!
