A man from Ava was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Stone County. The highway patrol says that 51 year old Chad Emmerson of Ava suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and hit a sign and a fence. Emmerson was taken to an area hospital. The accident happened on U.S 160 about 5 miles east of Reeds Spring.
A West Plains Teen suffered serious injuries in an accident north of Koshkonong Saturday night. The Highway patrol says that 18 year old Colten Smith was injured when he drove off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on M Highway about 5 miles north of Koshkonong.
The Highway patrol reports that a man from Willow Springs was injured in a motorcycle accident in Gainesville Saturday. The patrol says that 69 year old Ralph Alkire suffered moderate injuries when he crossed the centerline, drove off the road and overturned the motorcycle he was riding. Alkire was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S 160 in Gainesville.
A Willow Springs woman suffered Minor injuries in an accident on highway 63 south of West Plains Saturday night. 33 year old Jo B Guffey was injured when her windshield was hit by an item thrown from another vehicle. Guffey was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The incident happened on highway 63 about two miles south of West Plains.
A teen from Alton was injured in an accident east of Van Buren. 18 year old Matthew Townsend suffered minor injuries when he swerved to miss a deer and traveled off the roadway, hitting several trees and a stop sign. The accident happened on Missouri 21 about 5 miles east of Van Buren Sunday afternoon.
