A Myrtle MO man received serious injuries in a 2 vehicle accident Saturday night. 81 yr old Howard T Garrison was southbound on MO 142, 14 miles east of Myrtle driving an 05 Honda Rancher when he attempted to cross the hwy and pulled into the path of a Chevy Cavalier driven by 46 yr old William F Mackey of Viola. Mackey was not injured. Garrison was taken by ambulance to OMC for treatment of serious injuries. He was not wearing a safety device.
A Doniphan man escaped injury late Saturday night in Butler County while traveling US 160. MSHP reports 28 yr old Adam W Robinett was traveling west near RT C when 19 yr old Austin W Bryant of Qulin, MO failed to yield in his Chevy Malibu and hit Robinett’s Ford F150. Bryant was taken by ambulance to Popular Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Both men were wearing seatbelts.
