A former deputy and school resource officer has had his trial moved to March of 2020. 33 year old Matthew Guthrie was a Baxter County Deputy and School resource officer is charged with 7 counts of sexual assault involving a 16 year old female student. He allegedly made a full confession to having consensual sexual activity with the student. He was arrested back in July and then released on $100,000 bail.
