Tuesday was election day and one of the most talked about issues on the ballot was the fate of the Parkside House in West Plains and citizens were overwhelmingly in support of removing the house in favor of an all-inclusive park. The Vote was 1,149 no and 340 yes.
In Texas County voters said no to a tax for the Licking School District 558 to 372 and in Houston voters voted to extend the sales tax there with 118 voting yes and 43 no.
