A man from Houston was injured in an accident south of Roby in Texas County. The Highway Patrol says that 24 year old Shawn Jeffers suffered moderate injuries when he lost control on an ice coverered roadway, traveled off the road and hit a tree. Jeffers was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Missouri highway 17 about 3 miles south of Roby late last night.
