The Thayer Bobcats get a thrilling win in the Class 1 District Championship game. Cale Willison kicked a 30 yard field goal with 9 seconds left to lift the Bobcats to a 22-20 win over Pierce City.
Thayer will advance to the state playoffs this Saturday at Valle Catholic. The Warriors beat Hayti Friday night 43-6 in their district final.
In The Class 2 District 3 final it was Ava beating Willow Springs 36-0. The Ava Bears advance to the state playoff next Friday.
