The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reports that they are searching for a man from Ava on felony warrants. They came in to contact with a suspicious vehicle. By the time, deputies were able to make contact with the vehicle, it had been parked and the driver had fled. A search was conducted on the residence in the vicinity of the parked vehicle, with no one located. The driver was believed to be 48 year old Dallas Conn, who has 2 active felony warrants out of Douglas County. It is believed that Conn is receiving help in avoiding apprehension and Sheriff Degase does want it known, that those individuals aiding or assisting Conn will be prosecuted. Any information to Conn’s whereabout can be given anonymously by calling the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 417-683-1020.
