The Kansas City Chiefs have designated defensive tackle Xavier Williams to return from injured reserve, according to the NFL’s transactions report.
Williams was placed on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain on Wednesday, October 9, three days after the Chiefs’ Week 5 game with the Indianapolis Colts.
Williams’ designation starts a 21-day clock (ending on December 25), during which the Chiefs can activate Williams or he will finish the season on injured reserve
