A Cave City man has been arrested after a search warrant was served at his residence. The Sharp County Sheriff’s Department and Cave City police executed a search warrant at the home of 47 year old Daryl Long on Lile Street in Cave City. Officers found several ounces of suspected meth, a large quantity of suspected synthetic marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia. Long was arrested and awaits formal charges for possession of a controlled substance meth with intent to deliver, possession of schedule VI with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. The sheriff’s Department reports the investigation is ongoing and more arrest are anticipated.
