The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a couple of arrest in separate incidents. Last Saturday they arrested 40 year old Rachel Williams of Ava. Williams is charged with felony first degree burglary, felony resisting arrest and fourth degree assault. Her bond was set at $10,000. Then on Tuesday they arrested 34 year old Jacob James of Ava,. James was arrested on a parole absconder warrant and also has charges pending for being a non-compliant sex offender. He is being held without bond.
