A Gainesville teen suffered serious injuries in an accident Saturday afternoon in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol says that 18 year old Garrett Morgan was injured when he traveled off the road, struck a guardrail and them his truck came to rest in a ravine. The accident happened on highway 5 about two miles south of Squires. Morgan was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
