The Chairman of the Missouri transportation Committee State Senator Doug Libla of Poplar Bluff, has filed legislation to raise Missouri’ gas tax from 17 to 19 cents per gallon. His proposal is Senate Bill 539 which would also increase the tax on Diesel from 17 to 23 cents per gallon.
He talks about much money that would bring in annually
Libla said that raising the tax does not require a vote of the public
