A Gainesville man face several charges following a search. 32 year old Edward Guzik Jr is charged with felony possession of firearms by certain persons, meaning he is a convicted felon, felony possession of a controlled substance meth, felony simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of a defaced firearm, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal use of a prohibited weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after authorities found a pistol with a illegible serial number, 6 live rounds of ammo, a pair of brass knuckles, meth and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $20,000.
