West Plains Holiday DWI Enforcement Campaign Results

The West Plains Police Department participated in the Holiday DWI Enforcement Campaign by conducting a DWI Saturation that ran from December 13, 2019 through January 1, 2020.  Seven Officers and a Dispatcher participated in the campaign that resulted in the following enforcement activities.

WRITTEN WARNINGS:

Equipment Violations   28  Display of State License Plates 9  Speeding    4  Stop Sign Violation   1  Failure To Signal   3  No Operator’s License  1  Fail To Show Proof of Insurance 3  Lane Violation   2  Minor In Possession of Intoxicants 3

CITATIONS:

Speeding    6  Fail To Show Proof of Insurance 5  Driving While Intoxicated  3  Display of State License Plates 2  Driving While Suspended/Revoked 2  Stop Sign Violation   1  Seat Belt Violation   1  No Operator’s License  3  Failure To Signal   2  Minor In Possession of Intoxicants 1

The above numbers were the result of the following:

Total Traffic Stops   55  Total Physical Arrests   5  Total Citations    22  Total Written Warnings  54  Total Number of Hours Worked 35
