
A man from Mammoth Spring was arrested in Sharp County then transferred to Izard County. Last Friday, deputies were called to a residence in Franklin for a domestic disturbance with a firearm involved. When they arrived the suspect, 63 year old Mark McComas of Mammoth Spring had left the residence. Deputies determined that the firearm was discharged next to the victim but not at anyone. McComas had allegedly made threats to kill the victim and the witnesses. McComas is charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a family or household member and two counts of terroristic threatening. His bond was set at $20,000 and he will be in court on Tuesday.
