Former Texas County Sheriff James Sigman officially resigned in court last week and is seeking back pay. A hearing was held to determine if he should be fired but Sigman resigned and demanded back pay from the time he was arrested through January 29th of 2020. Sigman is set to go to trial on criminal charges on April 22. Sigman and his chief deputy, Jennifer Tomazewski were both arrested in July 2018.
