In April voters in the Couch school District will be asked to vote on a tax levy increase of 55 cents. I talked to Couch Superintendent Dr. Sherry McMasters about it
She said they have held a couple of public meetings and have two more planned
The current tax levy at Couch School is at $3.5581, the increase would set the levy at $4.10081 and would generate an estimated $70,934 in 2020-21 if it passes.
