U.S Census Suspends Field Operations

The U.S. Census Bureau has announced a two-week suspension of field operations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and is urging households to complete the national survey online or by phone. Tim Olson, associate director for field operations, U.S. Census Bureau.

The suspension is slated to lift on April 1st. Arkansas receives around six-billion dollars annually from the federal government, and Olson points out that census data weighs heavily in determining that amount. For more information, look online at ‘my2020census.gov’ or call 844-330-2020.
