
The National weather service in Little Rock has now confirmed that on Thursday evening an EF-2 tornado was tracked from 2 miles southwest of Everton to 3 miles WSW of Yelleville. The path was 500 yards wide and 12.5 miles long. Trees were uprooted or snapped power poles broken outbuildings severely damaged or destroyed and several residences sustained serious damage. The Bruno-Pyatt school sustained damage and one person had minor injuries in Marion County.
Another tornado was confirmed in Baxter County. The weather service says an EF-1 tornado began 3 miles NNE of Gassville and ended 3 miles west of Mountain Home. The damage path was 600 yards wide and 2.16 miles long. Several large trees were uprooted or snapped, outbuildings were damaged. A large tree was uprooted and fell through the bedroom of a house and a large portion of the roodf of a house was torn off and blown into nearby trees.
