The St Louis Cardinals completed a sweep of the Chicago Cubs last night, with their 3rd straight “walk-off” win, and 5th straight over-all. Dexter Fowler smoked a line drive over the right field fence with a man on in the bottom of the 14th inning for the win last night. The Redbirds are right back after it tonight at Busch with the Minnesota Twins.
The Kansas City Royals scored 3 times in the 3rd inning yesterday and beat the Detroit Tigers 4-2. The Royals have the night off tonight before heading to Baltimore on Tuesday.
