
Mountain Home announces that they will close all playgrounds, pavilions, and restrooms at city parks until April 30th. They made the decision after Governor Asa Hutchinson said any and all legal COVID 19 mitigation measures must be enacted. In a press release the city said that they must be vigilant in practicing mitigation measures based on state and federal recommendations. They are encouraging the citizens to stay at home if possible and be vigilant in practicing social distancing.
The Mountain Home Police Department is also providing a free program for pick-up and delivery of groceries and prescription medications.
