On Thursday the number of COVID 19 Cases in Missouri and Arkansas continued to climb including a couple of new local cases. A New case was reported in Sharp County but no details about the case were released. Also there was a new case reported at the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Lawrence County and a new case was reported in Wright County. Arkansas reported 683 cases with 13 deaths, one of the deaths was at White River Medical Center in Batesville. 65 of the cases are in the Hospital with 23 on ventilators. 51 cases are in Nursing homes and 91 cases are health care workers. Locally there are 5 cases confirmed in Stone County, 2 in Lawrence, 2 in Independence, and 1 each in Sharp, Randolph and Baxter Counties. In Missouri there are 1,834 confirmed cases, with 19 deaths. Locally there are 6 in Wright County, 3 in Carter County, 2 in Ripley County and 1 each in Howell, and Texas Counties, but the one in Texas County know longer lives in state.
