The number of COVID 19 cases in the United States is now at over 337,000 with more than 9,600 deaths. Over the weekend we had the first local death when a 59 year old Carter County man died in a Springfield hospital. The man reportedly had an underlying health condition. In Missouri as of Sunday afternoon there were 2,367 cases with 34 deaths. Locally cases have been reported in Carter, Howell, Ripley and Wright Counties. In Arkansas Sunday afternoon there were 853 confirmed cases with 16 deaths. Locally there have been cases confirmed in Baxter, Independence, Lawrence, Randolph, Sharp and Stone Counties.
