A potential legal dispute is brewing over the more than $8 million the state spent in masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. The state has been refunded more than $9 million for the recalled masks ordered from two vendors. She says Missouri has worked with more than 700 vendors during the pandemic.
Karsten would not name the three vendors the masks were ordered from. Since the recall of the masks, Karsten says the state warehouse has received more than 200,000 N95 masks.
