Monday night at around 7pm, Oregon County Sheriff’s Deputies received a report of a 12 year old child missing from a residence on AA Highway. Deputies requested K9 Amul to assist with locating the child.
Deputies spotted the boy approximately 4.5 miles from the child’s residence on MO 19 south of HH Highway When Deputies attempted to turn around to talk with the child, he ran and a witness stated they saw the him go behind equipment parked along the highway. K9 Amul was able to track the child until the he was located in a wooded area on MO 19. The child was later returned home.
