The Number of COVID 19 cases in the United States has now topped 1 million with more than 58,000 deaths. In Missouri there have been 7,303 confirmed cases with 314 deaths and in Arkansas there has been 3,127 confirmed cases with 57 deaths. Locally in Arkansas cases have been confirmed in Baxter, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Lawrence, Marion, Randolph, Sharp and Stone Counties and in Missouri cases have been confirmed in Carter, Howell, Oregon, Ripley and Wright Counties. A New case was confirmed in Sharp County Tuesday bringing their total to 6 and a new case was confirmed in Randolph County bring their total to 17. In Lawrence County most of their cases have been at the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab where several residents have been confirmed to have COVID 19 as well as some of te employees at the facility and two people have died there.
