Severe Thunderstorms knocked out power to thousands on Monday afternoon in Southern Missouri. At their High Point Howell-Oregon Electric Coop Reported more than 6,000 members had lost power. Late this morning I talked to Dakota Bates at Howell-Oregon Electric Coop about the progress to restore the power.
He again warned people to avoid the downed power lines.
