Gov. Mike Parson opened up the state this week and says he encourages people to quote “reengage” with the economy and shop locally. However, Parson did say everyone should still respect social distancing guidelines. Todd Richardson is the director Missouri HealthNet. He says the state has seen a decline in the number of hospitalizations and positive cases, but caution is still necessary.
Parson says soon he will have more information on how funding for childcare will function as more and more people return to work.
